Inline editing

In a table view, it would be great to be able to just click a checkbox, or open a dropdown to change it, without having to go in a details view and/or pressing edit first and then save.
(This could be even better than the Airtable interface, where on mobile for isntance there is no one-tap checking of checkboxes.)

I believe this function is vital. It's been years, how come it hasn't been taken into consideration?

This is very important, not only for checkboxes but for all field types.
I think Airtable Interfaces have nailed it where you can make the grid editable or not and even when it is editable, there is a small open button towards the left side of the record to open the record details.
MiniExtensions does this great by selecting at the field level if it should be editable in the grid.

Button to change checkbox

In a list of records there could be a button on every feild (similar to the website link button just added) which would change a checkbox field inside the record to checked. Avoiding having to access the record, hit edit, then checking the box.

Although knack is not so well integrated/synced, it allows inline editing much better

Would love to have this feature, would reduce so much UI overhead and accelerate fast data editing!

This feature is critical for us in order to migrate for functionality to stacker

This would allow for quick data entry, which currently seems impossible with the current stacker limitations!
We link currently to an editable miniextensions grid, but it seems like a very pieced together solution.

I am getting complaints on this that its too time consuming - having to open a record to make changes - even with utilizing the button, users dislike the number of steps for a quick checkbox action.
