Hi there! It would be so helpful to have an extra feature to download data on a PDF file since many of our roles need to extend this information to our clients in a professional way.

any update on being able to print to PDF?! it's "uncategorized" right now!

Hi Thank you so much, this was a much awaited feature! Any tutorial to explain how to use it? I did not see the stacker integration on the documint website.
Thanks
Sam Davyson
Chloé Benadmon: You can find their documentation here: https://support.documint.me/integrations/stacker/

Documint (a document generation tool) has just added support for Stacker. You can now generate PDFs using their integration.
You can check out the solution at https://documint.me.

Sam Davyson: It seems to be applied only to the Airtable base. How it works for the Google Sheet based Stacker app?
Sam Davyson
Kyoungmin Song: Yes you are right, this currently only works for Airtable based Stacker apps. Integration with Google Sheets is coming.

Oh man having built multiple PDF reports I now just advise clients to use “save as PDF” weather then build a feature for it.
You can still use print styling to tidy it up a bit :)
Actually if you were on the pro plan you could already add your own print styling css ;)

Allow users to download page as a pdf

It would be great to have a button on a page that allows it to be downloaded as a pdf. We are using an app to send invoices to customers with all of their associated files attached. Being able to generate a pdf of the invoice that looks better than using the print function would be awesome.

I would love love love to see this, especially since Airtable has such limitations in this regard!

This would be amazing.

If you're trying to merge record data into a Doc or PDF, have you tried Google Doc Templates? I needed to create lease docs for tenants, so I made a Zap that merges Airtable record data with the Doc Template. Trigger was On2Air.
Field 1 is a drop down with options like "Create" and "Complete."
Field 2 is an airtable "recently modified" field that watches Field 1 only.
Field 3 is a slot for the finalized Google Doc URL
Zapier trigger is On2Air. When Field 2 is modified, trigger fires, filter is {Field 1} = "Create".
Then it merges the data into the Google Doc Template
Then Google Drive finds that file.
Drive sets permission as "anyone with link can edit"
Airtable updates the original record's Field 3 with the "alternate link" from the Google doc, which is the editable URL for the doc. This makes it easy to open the finished product and check for errors, make small changes, etc.
Make sure to have the Zap update the record's Field 1 to "Complete," so the Zap won't fire in a loop.
Then save as PDF.
Not sure if this would work for you, but I've been able to automate a ton of work away once I got this process down. Zapier steps attached here.
