I would absolutely love this feature. This is very critical, and I don't think would be hard to implement since you are basically doing this in the List features via the inline filters.
I use Stacker for Quoting clients, so for me, I would select a linked record from a Products table. Ideally, I would only want to see results that meet specific criteria (ie: filtered results).
that criterion
An example might be if I sell laptops and want to link a product record, but I only want to choose from Apple laptops and not Microsoft laptops, even though all my products are contained in the same table. So ideally, I would be able to filter for the manufacturer (Apple), and then only see records that match that criteria, and then filter down even further by model (Macbook Pro vs Mackbook Air) or other categories.
I have wanted this feature more than anything else, and have considered leaving Stacker because of the lack of this feature. I imagine many people feel the same way.
That being said, I love Stacker and hope this gets implemented!!!

Hi Sze! In Airtable, I can filter linked records by saying “display only in a view”. This allows me to store to different types of data in a single base.
For example, I have a base called “Companies” where I store data of clients and vendors.
However, in a related base only the linked record users can only select “clients”.
I would like the same to be available on Stacker so that when a user selects a drop down, it only shows the records I want him to show in that field.
Hope that clarifies.
