Right now, open signup only gathers basic user information (email, login, name, etc.). However, that means once a user has access to the app, they don't have any other pre-configurations (for example, what client they're associated to, or any other fields you may want to have filled out prior to their first login). Being able to customize the open signup form would be a total game changer for user experience. Imagine a new user types in their website URL and company name, and an Airtable automation runs in the background that creates the company/client and assigns them to it. Then imagine a second user from the same company signing up. An automation could detect that this second user has the same email domain as an existing user, and therefore would assign that second (new) user to the existing client related to the first user. I am already using those automations, but the difference is that I have to use a Fillout form to make it work, and there's latency between when a user submits the form and them actually being able to login (Stacker takes a minute to "register" them as a user). All that to say, custom open signup forms would make signups (1) much faster, and (2) a far more integrated experience, allowing users to signup while simultaneously capturing important "onboarding" information.
