Allow multiple detail pages

Hi. Is there an update on this?

Please add this! It would be incredible useful for making more complicated applications.

+1 for this
Its very frustrating not having this or multiple create pages. The reason is that there is no "one rule to rule them all" that a person needs to learn in the Stacker UX. Instead this is actually a gotcha that makes it harder to learn the tool, which elongates the onboarding time and adds to the meme "Stackers ui is unintuitive and confusing"

This is now mostly resolved with the tabs. Much easier to filter visibility on tabs by role or other criteria.

Hi Thu there is an earlier request for this perhaps these tickets need to be merged to get a sense of the support?

+1 for this. The hack mentioned here doesn't work for this use case -- You want to have 2 detailed views of the same table: One that is read-only, and one that starts in edit mode. The idea being having a different 'edit' view (e.g. completing missing fields, detailed fields, etc) rather your main detail page.
There's a lot of reasons you would want to display separate info while editing a record versus simply viewing it.

Hi Erik Sandsmark - yes this is how I am currently accomplishing this, however it is less than ideal.

Amanda Shipka: I see :)

Erik Sandsmark: I have 10 different "views" of one page (managed with a drop down view selector) - for a single role. I plan on adding 2 more roles.
A larger issue (compared to design convenience) is the lag that we experience, which I think would be resolved with multiple pages.

Erik Sandsmark That solution is fine while you have a limited number of fields and a limited number of process for users to undertake but where you need them to do a series of things and need different sets of fields displayed it gets a bit overwhelming; that said the new beta Action Buttons are a partial solution. @stacker there is an earlier ticket / suggestion requesting this that you may want to merger with this one
Erik Sandsmark
Gordon Renouf: Good point!

Amanda Shipka If I understand you correctly, this can be done by using the "conditional visibility" feature. One role can see one field, and another role can see another, effectively allowing several different detail views of a record. see more here: https://docs.stacker.app/customizing-your-app/editing-pages/record-pages/conditional-visibility
We have three different users in our app: All records are displayed differently to the users. Many of our records are also displayed differently based on "status".
